Hydra Fuzz - (Based on the Sola sound 3 knob Tonebender®)


The Hydra Fuzz (based on the Sola Sound Tonebender 3 Knob). Simple to bias, this tonebender is versatile and an easy first germanium fuzz build. The PCB includes a tone control and inverted power section to allow the tonebender to be used with other negative ground effects (ie, You can add this effect to your boss style power chain without the need for a separate positive ground power source).

•   PCB Components
"PCB Components" includes all onboard components you need to build the "Hydra Fuzz" (resistors, capacitors, diode, IC). Battery snap is included as well as 6 lengths of wire. Also includes, LED, current limiting resistor ("medium" brightness) and plastic bezel for mounting the led to an enclosure.

•   9mm Potentiometer
Add 9mm Alpha metal shaft potentiometer's to your kit! Values included are from the Bill of Materials (link below) excluding the volume control which will be supplied as per mod note (100ka).


•   Compact Mono Jacks (2 of)
"Compact Mono Jacks (2of)" include 2 Lumberg compact mono jacks with your kit. These jacks are small in size, a good choice for tight builds and beginners but can be used for any build. Please note you will need a stereo jack if you plan to power your effect with a battery. (Stereo jacks are available in the hardware section of this store).





•   Miniature DC Jack
These DC jacks are very small and are suitable for any build not using a battery / battery switching. Especially good for 1590a builds as they are very compact.



•   Knobs
These knobs are a high quality aluminium with a grooved circumference for a nice tactile feel and a full faced indicator line. They are small in diameter (13mm), can be used for any pot that has a 6.35mm shaft but will also fit the tight spacing needed for 1590a builds
